Where are you based? Do you charge travel fees?
We're based in Sydney, NSW most of the year and do not charge travel fees within a 200km radius.
Further afield: if your wedding is outside Australasia, please let us know. We base ourselves in Europe for a few months every year (during summer) and if your dates line up, you may not need to pay intl travel fees.
How long does it take to receive the photos and films?
Photography turn around is 6 weeks, and the films are 12 weeks. During peak season, films may take a little longer.
For each wedding, we roughly photograph around 6,000 - 7,000 images collectively, which are handpicked for selection for the curated delivery of at least 600 images. When filming, we capture around 6-8 hours of video which is all rewatched and listened to, and sorted into selects for the final film. Depending on the season, these timelines may change. We'll absolutely keep you updated along the way, and you’re more than welcome to continuously spam us to check in!
How can I confirm my booking?
If you'd like to book, email us to confirm your date and details. We will require a deposit so the day is secured and no one else can book.
How long will you be there on the day?
You'll have the option to book us for 8 or 10 hours, and you can choose when you'd like us to start and finish. We've documented over 400 weddings, so we can also give you advice on how we can capture your day, all the way from preparation to the reception dance floor. If extended hours are needed, we're more than happy to include these if necessary. This is a common request, particularly for weddings with Chinese tea ceremonies and other cultural events.
I'd like to meet you before the wedding. Is that possible?
It's not uncommon for us to grab a coffee with our clients during the booking process (location dependent), so you can let us know exactly what your vision is, and how we can bring that to life for you and your fiancé. Mention this in your enquiry, and we'll see how we can make it happen. If you want to do a video chat or Skype, that can also be arranged.
What information will you need from me?
A month before your wedding you'll be required to pay the balance, and we'll send an email to remind you. About a week before the wedding we'll require a run sheet and list/visual description of important elements such as floristry arrangements.
Will I get a preview soon after the wedding?
After the big day, we send out a photography preview within the first 10 days that is very extensive and will keep you thrilled while we work at completing the rest. The full collection of photographs will follow in the weeks after. Film teasers can be organised if you'd like to add this to your collection.
